Tanya Gregory is an emerging artist based in the Southern Highlands, NSW, Australia. Raised in Sydney, Tanya developed an early passion for art and creativity, but academic pursuits took her in a different direction and she qualified as a lawyer and worked for several years in the legal profession.

Tanya is self-taught and has dedicated time to her art practice since 2014. She paints with oils because of their ability to create a sense of depth and texture and subtle transitions in tone and colour. Tanya’s work focuses primarily on landscapes and her aim is to capture the beautiful colours and shifting light of the natural world. Her paintings are characterised by a sense of calm, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the serenity of the scene.
